Lansing is Michigan’s Capital City and over 123,223 residents call it home. Thousands of State workers come to Lansing each week and over 5 million visitors come each year. The city's cultural attractions are many including: the Michigan Historical Library and Museum, BoarsHead Theater, Riverwalk Theatre, Impression 5 Science Center, and the Wharton Center for Performing Arts. There are many opportunities to take in recreational activities and sporting events. Lansing has its own Minor League Baseball Team, the Lansing Lugnuts. The Capital Region is also home to Michigan State University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
